So I tried breast feeding & it was a struggle so I started pumping instead and thought I'll do that until I meet the lactation specialist. Someone said I decide to just pump I will lower my milk supply. Is that true? If so how ?

That's not true. If you pump often it'll increase your supply. I had to solely pump when my daughter was in the nicu and I was in over supply

It depends on the person. Some people respond well to pumping... I don't. I have to nurse to make milk. My milk just doesn't drop when I pump.

Really does depend on the person. My good friend exclusively pumped for 12 months with her child because she was a working mother but when I tried because of some bf problems I was having it triggered me to dry up

Okay thank you and yea my milk came in fast and lol I have a lot & it gives me comfort to know she's getting fed where I'm still learning the tricks and traits to breast feeding. I think right now too pumping is easy for me and she sleeps better @ashbabash18 @elenalee @karnamarie

Yeah it depends on the person. I pump and nurse but for some people one is easier than the other. But I do know if pumping does work for you and you pump a lot it'll help you produce more milk
