Can I eat anything before my glucose test or not? I heard some people say they couldn't eat before…

I ate half of an fried egg sandwich on toast no butter about an hour before and passed with flying colors

I ate about two hours before my test and the doctor said that was fine. I had breakfast and my test was at 2pm.

it wouldn't eat right before, but just stay away from sugars/caravans you should be fine.

It really depends on the Doctor. My doctor told me to eat like normal because if I didn't then the test wouldn't accurately represent my sugars. That made total sense to me, but I've noticed a lot of other people were told to fast starting at midnight the night before the test. So it's best just to ask your OB to make sure of what they want. If they do tell you not to fast I wouldn't eat something super sugary or anything like that though of course
