I'm kind of sad that I was positive for the group B strep. I know that I didn't do anything wrong…

I am in the same boat. I was negative for both my previous pregnancies so it was a huge bummer to be positive this time around 🙁

I know! My first pregnancy I didn't have it. I was surprised and upset when they told me I was positive. @littlepeanut91

Aw :( Well, I hope it goes well for us both. My doctor was very good at describing everything and putting me at ease with it. I hope your doctor does or did the same!

Yeah they did. I was a little upset at first like it felt like I did something and it's my fault. And the OB reassured me that it's not. And my baby will still be totally fine as long as I get antibiotics during labor. I have to get a different one then penicillin because I'm allergic to it. @littlepeanut91

@kaylaskibinski, your not alone, I tested postive to, my main concern is getting to the hospital in time to get the antibiotics because I'm a ftm and don't really know anything about labor

I thought it was weird that in the first trimester I was negative and now I'm positive. Ugh
