I have a 4 yo and a new born. My 4 yo keeps acting up since we brought our newborn home. What are ways to make the older sibling feel not so left out and wanted. He had been breaking toys because we are not listening to him or he is not talking to us because we don't play with him anymore.

My sister said that taking a hour a day one of you parents to dedicate to them is really helpful. They get to feel special and the whole hour is just for them

He already helps with feeding, changing diapers and holds her a lot. He still needs more attention.

Uh oh he's jealous. Have him help you with the baby get him to try and bond say baby wants a kiss and baby loves him he's used to being number one so you have to let him know you love him in so many ways it's hard but he will get there
