My maternity leave started May 1st just got an email saying that I'm suppose to return to work June 11. I'm due on the 29 -_- are you kidding me Starbucks. How does that make sense to anyone.

@meli2890, @vikki655 they told me I had to stop working by May 1st cause of legalities and what not. And I just talked to them and they told me they wouldn't start paying me until I give birth.im pretty pissed since I'm still physically able to work and I could've been working this entire time. If I knew I wasn't going to have a income for a month

Yeah contact the Hr department so they can help you. Have you been there for more than a year?

How do you apply for maternity leave? You just do it through unemployment or does my dr have to provide the information?

@inkedizzy, I did it through the insurance company through work but yeah your doctor has to sign forms and stuff
