I feel like I got hit by a truck. Let's recap the last 36 hours, shall we?

Started Pitocin. Bear refused to let them externally monitor him. He moved away from it or kicked it away. Doctors pressured me into breaking my water within a few hours so that they could place a needle FSC monitor on the top of his head. They attempted to give me an epidural and it only worked on my legs!

He started to get stressed and his oxygen was low. My doctor thought that he had a kink in his cord so they inserted a intravaginal monitor and a tube to put water back into my uterus. This I could feel. It hurt.

Finally Baby responded and a new doctor gave me an epidural that actually worked so I was able to get 3 hours of sleep. When I got up baby was doing great, epidural was doing it's job. That afternoon I finally progressed to a 10 and we started pushing. I pushed for 3 hours and made no progress since baby was sideways. My doctor manually turned him and he turned back!

I made the call to do a C- Section. She offered forceps etc. After 20 hours I was done.

Turns out the epidural missed a spot on my hip and uterus so I could feel my surgery on 1 side. Then I started hemorrhaging after the surgery was over so they manually removed a large amount of blood clots after my epidural had already been removed.

I lost so much blood they had to give me 2 bags. Then they inserted a balloon to help my uterus stop bleeding.
