How many Mommas plan of opening gifts at their shower?? I know its tradition & my family wants me to but I don't want to cause I cannot control my facial expressions 😩 I'm grateful I really am but if somebody buys my baby Apple bottom, Baby phat, enyce anything Imma give a mean side eye 😒

If that's the case don't have a baby shower and buy your own stuff. That would solve the problem. That's why I ask up front what do you want me to get if you don't tell me, I come and don't bring anything, bc I don't like to waste my money. Hints why I am not having a baby shower but a welcome home and only wants pampers and wipes.

I could probably win an Oscar for my performance opening gifts I hate. I am grateful, absolutely but not everyone has the same tastes and it's just difficult.

That's how i was. i didn't wanna open presents but everyone wanted me to open theirs. I had a glued on smile the whole time lol
