I'm sorry but I think it's kinda selfish for someone to want one gender and when they get the opposite they're disappointed, God will bless you with what's meant to be!

I feel the same way. I mean I understand gender disappointment but to be like depressed over it and stuff is just wrong in my personal opinion

@emkasting, it really is I agree! I couldn't even imagine being disappointed over my little guy!

I know! Me neither. Even though I don't know anything about boys since I always babysat for little girls I'm so excited to have a boy. And even though a boy is what I wanted I wouldn't have been depressed if he had been a girl. Not in the slightest.

I agree, I've seen a lot that become pregnant because they want a specific gender, & then when they get the other their world ends. It's one thing to "prefer" one gender over the other, we've all done the guessing game & hoped for whatever gender, but that should stop once the gender is found out it, there shouldn't be any complaints or weird depression, they should happy either way.

I wouldn't trade my boys for the world. And to think I wanted this baby to be a girl at first.

Say it! I hate that to, seems like to many women favor boys and it's not right. I didn't care as long as my baby was alive and healthy.

I'm glad I'm not alone on thinking this lol! @chantebrandon @peanutsmom1006 @soontobemomof4

I think it is very ungrateful when mom's wish to be in our shoes who can't get pregnant. Like just be happy.

I'm going to put it this way... When I had my first baby, I got exactly what I wanted.. A Boy. This time I said I wouldn't mind a girl. I'm having another boy and honestly couldn't be happier. God won't give you more than you can handle. And there's a lesson in everything. There's a reason He gives us one gender and not the other.
