The lady I babysit for is always changing my schedule. She always text me the days and times I work on Sunday, and she changes them 5 or 6 times throughout the week. Like I understand your schedule changes sometimes but damn. Doesn't leave me much room to make plans. If I'm scheduled to work 9am-6pm on Friday, she will wait the entire week then text me at 3 am Friday morning and say actually can you come in at 6 am instead. Then while I'm working that Friday, she'll say, I won't be home until 8 pm. Like wtf

I get paid a flat rate for a certain amount of hours per week. If she exceeds that number of hours than its an hourly fee for each hour beyond. @arachelle

looks like with her schedule she needs to hire a live in nanny lol Gosh nobody has time for that like im sure you have a life to live as well.

I really live like 3 minutes away from her so it works out for us most of the time. But when she says I need you until 6pm, then text me while I'm already there and says I won't be home until after 8pm. There is really nothing I can do and it doesn't give me the option to say no. I can't leave the kids. @heathersteffey

Lol I nannied for years and that's what comes with the territory some times. I HATE when they text last minute and say that they'll be there later. Did you agree to such a schedule at the start of the position?

Our original contract is so much different than how things are now. So not really, but she kinda leaves me in situation where I don't have much of an option. Anyways today is my last day. She keeps asking me when I'm coming back after the baby, but I'm probably not lol @jesjeslovesyou

@ayyeblackberry__, she doesn't have too much respect for you. She needs to follow the contract. Us nannies get walked over all of the time lol. We're just expected to go along with whatever they want. Stand your ground and don't come back unless she can agree to follow the original terms. That's some BS.

Only reason I put up with it is because she's close as hell and it's hard trying to find new work being 9 months pregnant, even as a nanny. And she's probably one of the few people who's okay with me bringing my baby along right after. But yeah she's becoming a bit much. @jesjeslovesyou
