they are much safe than the ones that have the two sperate pieces that just last on each other.. I use it it makes my little man's head stay put that way it doesn't flop all over.

Technically yes it's unsafe due to the fact that car seats aren't tested with after market products in them.

I do & my daughter is 2 years old. I hate for her head to flop around when she falls asleep.
