alright. here we go. first thing MIL has brought up, she INSISTS I not get my baby vaccinated. let me hear yall's opinions. ready set go.
It's an extremely personal, and controversial decision to make. I vaccinated my girls because they were premature and at risk to get very sick, very easily. I also did it for all the children that are extremely sick that cannot get vaccinated because of it but can easily pick up what your child has, even if your child doesn't get sick from it. I will say that there IS a reason why diseases that have long been gone are making a drastically fast comeback and it is unfortunately due to unvaccinated children. Do your research, the CORRECT research. Talk to multiple doctors and do not just stop at one view point that "sounds" right. There's a lot on both sides and people tend (not everyone, but a lot) to stop and make a bias decision based off one story/article that's written
It's such a personal decision. My 7yr old isn't and this baby won't be either, but you have to do a lot of research and figure out what you believe is best for your baby
I am not vaccinating my baby. nobody in my family (5 kids) was ever vaccinated and we turned out fine. lol its definitely a parents decision though. I wouldn't let anyone persuade you either way
thank you everyone, @maybaby2016 your comment helped the most! thank you so much!
I feel like it's your choice and no matter what you decide just make sure you're making completely educated, informed decisions. Do what you feel is right for you and yours, not your MIL or anyone else. We have vaccinated all of our children but once I started looking into things I wasn't really sure how I felt about vaccines. we decided to stop vaccinating our youngest partially through his schedule. I had to get special forms for him to start kindergarten and now that I've been thinking about it, I'd rather be safe than sorry and since he's had no bad reactions to the vaccines before, I plan on going ahead and finishing up his shots. Don't let anyone shame you or make you feel like you have to do anything, just make sure you are completely informed about which decision you make. 😊
do what u belive in and how u feel about it. i vaccinate my baby and shes never been sick from the shots, shes in daycare and she has to be vaccinated or she wont be able to attend.
personally, all of my siblings and I were vaccinated and we turned out fine. but she INSISTS that vaccines give children autism and hurt them more than they help them. not gonna let her make the decisions for me, just thought I'd get an idea of how other people feel on the subject
Choose what you want to do and don't listen to anyone else. I personally will be doing vaccinations
I'm kinda leaning towards not doing the vaccines all at once, but spaced out. oddly enough, out of 12 babies born last year & this year that I personally know, that were vaccinated, have been very sickly, mostly with lung problems (RSV, Asthma, Pneumonia). the one i know unvaccinated has been very healthy. so idk what to do really. lol
thank you everyone, for all the help and advice for a Ftm :)
