Do some moms never really pump but maybe 2 times a day, but breastfeed every two hours and are good…

I never pump and my milk supply is good for my daughter. 8 months strong and I've only pumped a hand full of times

I don't produce enough when I pump, so I gave that up because it got frustrating, but I breastfeed every 2 hours and my supply is good.

@santistevanmommie, @lillymom2016 see I used too try and pump every time she ate but I haven't had the time. So I try too pump in the morning or if I go somewhere and at night. But she only wakes up once or twice at night but during the day the eats every two hours or so maybe 3 hours sometimes. But everyone says to pump to keep up your supply and I don't want it too be lowered. And then I'm always worried if I pump and she might be hungry and I just emptied it all out. I don't know, I'm paranoid lol

Lol maybe just pump at night since she doesn't wake much. Also it's highly unlikely you'll ever empty your boobs during pumping

@santistevanmommie, will I need to pump every 2 hours? Because I can barely stay awake to breastfeed. Lol

I would say pump when it's convenient for you. As long as baby's breast feeding every few hours your supply should be okay. The l.c. I had told me baby gets more out of you than a pump does anyways.

@santistevanmommie, @lillymom2016 that's what I heard too. I always pump before I go to bed. And I'll pump with two let downs on each side. And try in the mornings. Sometimes I will just pump because I want too or I know she didn't eat that much on the breast.
