Today my dad decided to call me for once. That was a good surprise. Ive been missing him lately, and with him being in and out of the hospital im really scared to lose him. I used to be such a daddys girl but after i had my first son i moved out and our relationship faded. so the fact that he actually called me on his own today actually made me feel pretty good. especially with him not being to enthused about this pregnancy at first and now hes finally coming around.

Your his daughter. He should be in his glory of the heart you seem to have....dads don't understand how lucky they are to be dads, and sometimes it's to late. Your a gem for loving your dad , when it seems like he's sorta let you down. Not you , him.

I just keep thinking back to the man from my childhood. He was my hero i loved him so much but after my parents divorce he let himself go, he withered away from depression thats when he really started letting me down. but no matter what hes still my dad and hes been sick lately so i dont want any sour feelings i just keep thinking back to the man that raised me. @charleyhope523
