okay so I've been thinking a lot lately about labor. can you mommas tell me about your experiences…

had 2 without and one with. .. i honestly didnt think epidural helped with pain i still felt a lot. but im not gonna lie when i had my daughter i was crying for meds when i got to hospital ANYTHING for pain lol , but then again i was already ready to push when i got there tho so thats probably why lol

I have had both... I hated my epidural. It only work right for 15 minutes, after that it only worked on half my body which was awful and they had to do my Epi twice and wiggle it all around while I was having intense contractions, it didn't even fix it and by the time I needed to push, it wasn't working at all. It was a lot of unnecessary stress to deal with while in labor... The next time I did all natural and it was awesome. It hurt like hell, but it was manageable, just one contraction at a time. By the time I was starting to wear out, it was time to push and baby was out. Recovery was great. I will definitely do natural again. I hear the Epi can be amazing but for me it isn't worth the risk of it sucking so, so bad.

I was in so much pain for over 8 hours I wanted the epi but I had to dilate past a 3 and it just was not happening. my water had broke on its own so I was receiving pitocin to speed up the process in which made contractions times a billion lol after 8 hours my doc decided it was time they'd give me the epi anyways. it took only a minute and I only felt a pinch and that was it. he asked if I was feeling the contraction and I was like what I'm having one haha so I'd say I had the best experience with my epidural. after that I was able to sleep and I woke up with the feeling of having to poop and an hour later I pushed. I didn't feel myself tear down there or them sewing me up. I'm honestly so glad I got the epidural. my body was not opening up, I was not progressing. but once I was able to relax and sleep it was so quick and easy.

I went all natural with my first. It was a super fast labor. Barely made it to the hospital in time. She was crowning by the time I got there, so no time for any meds. Now that I know I am capable of having it naturally, I am planning on no mess with this baby too. Honestly the idea of an epi scares me. The thought of a huge needle going into my spine does not sit well with me.

I had my 1st son no epidural, gave birth in 2o min and 2hr labor, my 2nd son I had an epidural also gave birth 230min but,I swear to this day and he's 13 now I have a very sensitive lower back where they injected the epidural, ,,
