Had the biggest scare of my life so far... I was taking a shower and I hear my dogs howling. I had a feeling someone was at the door. I get out, dry myself off, wrapped a towel around me and went into the living room and I hear/see the door knob jiggling. Thinking it was my mom trying to get in, I look out the window... her car wasn't there. I'm thinking "Holy s**t someone is trying to break in!" I put on clothes, grabbed my taser (ohh yes, I have one. It's pink), by that time I heard someone at the back door trying to get in! My adrenaline kicked in so I opened the door and it was a realtor. The owners we're renting from gave him a 🔑 so he could come in and take pictures/measurements. Um, why weren't we told this? Thank god his key didn't work because if I saw this man walk into this house with me in a vulnerable state, I would of given birth right then and there! My heart was racing. Im so ready to move into our real home.

Wow! I would be having some words with the landlord. Glad it wasn't a stabby serial killer (would be my first thought) lol

Oh wow. I am glad you are ok! I would definitely be talking to the homeowner about that. There are laws protecting your privacy. They aren't supposed to come in without your permission and/or prior knowledge.

I think that landlords, maintenance people, etc. should call before they show up especially when its a man entering a woman's home... my landlord and maintenance man just walk in whenever they please and yell once they've already entered. like wtf? what if I was walking around naked.

I feel like even if he was given a key he should have been aware that someone was living there and he should have knocked before trying to use the key! That's so strange

@phinnybinz, it was my first thought too! @logansmommy2016 @aimee_lynn oh yes he'll be hearing from me. At least give me the courtesy of letting me know that a relator was going to stop by at such time. Don't have someone show up unannounced like that. I understand it's your home but there are occupants here, one is pregnant, show some respect. The home owner is on the slow side so idk. @usmcwife funny thing, he said he knocked and rang the door bell but I didn't hear it.
