@jgled000, I just don't know what to watch for. A rough guideline like they have for term babies would be nice
I agree. and it's hard to say because each child is different and a full term baby could take longer to do something than ours.
@jgled000, my son goes belly to back sometimes now. And he is 6 weeks. He really started making good eye contact and looking at things over the past week. Sometimes he is awake longer and not others. There really doesn't seem to be a lot of concrete info out there for us.
He's 5.5 months. I think its a mixture of both. I am curious as well. he started rolling belly to back at 4 months but then quit. he grabs things now, is starting to sit up, still only stays awake 1.5-2 hours at a time. im a little concerned about him not rolling over, but I know it will come so I'm being patient. I just try to remember to look at him as if he was 4.5 months.
@jgled000, how old now? I have been struggling to get a straight answer from my pedi - and am curious if your LO met all the benchmarks like eye contact, rolling over, grabbing things, staying awake, etc or if some of them were delayed.
I've always heard to go by their adjusted age. so for us, 4 weeks younger than they are. since mine is 5 months, I go by 4 months
