getting kinda frustrated. my blood sugar has been spiking and there is no way to control it. I have an insulin pump and my endocrinologist is on maternity leave all month and can't help me. I've been eating the minimal amount of carbohydrates for a pregnant woman according to the dietician I'm starving all the time and yet my blood sugars are still too elevated. I feel like a bad mom to my baby. it's completely out of my control until my endocrinologist comes back but by that time it's june and my baby is probably going to be born already. she could develop hypoglycemia and seizures due to the over working of her pancreas.
