Lightning pain is caused by the pressure and position of the baby as they descend into the birth canal to get ready for delivery. The good news is lightning pain means you are getting closer to delivery day. The bad news is that lightning can happen for weeks before you actually go into labor.
What Causes Lightning Pain?
It’s often just the pressure of the baby’s head on your cervix, or pressure on nerve endings around your pelvis.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
