I bought a little travel kit at Walmart that had a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and floss for like $6 and a small pack of overnight pads only because I'm not sure how much I will bleed afterwards.

The biggest things i did were sandals for shower, lotion, own gown because they still need access to everything after baby comes. hair ties and hit up the dollar store or walmart for toiletries that way u dont soend a ton and u can just throw it away after. no hospital germs back home

For a C-Section so you know you can't use soap anywhere to where when you take a shower there is a possibility of soap getting on or around the incision. I had everything with me and then had to do an emergency C Section and couldn't use my shampoo or Conditioner due to long hair. And was only able to use body wash from my legs down. But you will want a blanket for sure. And you will want something to keep you occupied as well.

a robe, slippers,socks, soap, toothpaste and toothbrush, extra water, snacks, a blanket, your electronics and chargers, clothes for going home and clothes for pictures and going home for baby. Your doctor will give you instructions on washing, I didn't have any problems I was told to just gently dab the area with water or use a baby wash and let the water run over incision and never to scrub like you would the rest of your body. I found a robe that zipped it was a life saver especially with all the visitors and getting up to walk around and breastfeeding. Good luck on everything.

take a pillow with u for the ride home especially if u live a Lil ways from the hospital. cause ull swear they r hitting every bump in the Rd someone even said a heating pad for the gas pains. I'd never thought of that one before and wish I would've known years ago about it
