my son is 14 months and still sleeping with me. I'm gonna have to out him in his own bed this summer cause I can't have a toddler and a new born in the bed. I plan on cosleeping with my daughter. they sleep longer and better and so do you. I have a little worries cause he's already attached to me. he's just a mommas boy

Your baby will be attached to you whether you cosleep or not, they are a part of you. You do what is best for you and your family. My babygirl is 8 months old and at night cosleeps, she is breastfed and this literally makes resting so much easier having her in bed because if she wiggles or starts to wake up I just whip out the boobie and she goes right back to sleep. When we were putting her in the crib she would wake up constantly and in the time it took me to get up and pick her up it was much harder to get her down. She now sleeps 8-10 hours a night uninterrupted and we didn't even have to sleep train her. She is independent enough to nap in the crib during the day and she plays by herself while I get housework done. But this is just a personal preference, again what ever you are comfortable with is going to be best ! Trust yourself :)

That's what I told him. My son has slept with me since birth and since birth he has not had a problem being switched from my bed to his little arms reach cosleeping bed. He was just like, oh make sure you start now so that way he grows up to be independent 🙄

@ortegacass661, I wouldn't worry about it, and if you continue having disagreements with your pediatrician it would be better to switch the earlier that you know that you have different opinions. You want a doctors that is supportive of the way you parent, especially if the baby is healthy and happy!

My husband thinks since we co sleep at the moment since we are trying to move. That our daughter will forever want to be in bed with us and will be to scared to sleep in her soon to be own room. He's worried it will be harder to get her to sleep on her own in the future. But I love my little girl and I love cuddling with her at night.

My son has co slept off and on (mostly on) and he's 3 1/2 years old. He's a very independent little guy. Out co sleeping has little to nothing to do with his daily behavior. Of course he wants his mamma throughout the day but what little boy doesn't. Do whatever makes you and LO happy.
