Before I get into my actual post, DO NOT JUSTIFY TO ME WHY YOU ARE ON ASSISTANCE. It isn't my business. I'm glad you're doing the needful and I hope everything gets better. And if you're gonna announce how you hate this or that or judge people, feel free to make your own post because I'm not gonna debate you.

FB is doing too much today. I'm not disgusted by people on public assistance. I'm disgusted by people who are jealous of them. Also, I notice on those posts that people who only receive medical always seem to think they're somehow less dependent than those who receive food. Like, it's ALL assistance and it ALL exists to prevent you from starving to death or having to deliver your baby in some back alley with two stray cats as your attendants. Pipe down and let people live. But hey, enjoy that Medicaid and WIC while you look down on folks you're not too far removed from. We are ALL one instance from financial ruin or dire straits.

Also the "It's my taxes" argument is invalid. Pennies go to assistance when compared to FICA & other taxes.
