My bad got denied too, for a good job too.. Because of stealing a 2 liter pop from a school , when he was younger, and we just found out , if he wants the charge erased from when he gets background checked, we have to pay $50 and fill out a form

He got into a fight with this kid when we was all drinking at the kids house. So they charged him with burglary even tho he was invited into the house and he got jumped.. We was all young and dumb.. It ruined so much for him too @alexzandriar

same for my bf.. so I'm the one working... but he's a good babysitter lol

My husband has to deal with the same thing and I hate seeing him so discouraged. It was hardest when we were looking for a place to live because no where in the area where we were looking would house a felon... Except of course some super sketchy areas which I wasn't okay with because of the baby. Now we've found a place to live even though it's an hour from his job and he has been there for 6 months now. It's hard though, I completely understand. It does get better though. I'm sure he will find something. Encouragement from was the best thing for him to keep going and looking

I'm the only one giving him any encouragement his family calls him a lazy bum. And I almost got into fights with them in the past for it. But we are living with his mom right now and they fight constantly.. We are trying to get on our feet and we both are starting to get down about everything @jleightutt

@xoashl3ylynnxo, I hate that for you guys. We've been there. My parents gave us so much grief when we got engaged and then found out I was pregnant. They made me feel like I was making the most horrible decision in my life to be with someone in his situation but he's an amazing man and we got married a few months later anyway. All I can say is that it will get better, I'm sure he will find something even if it's not ideal and then you guys will be able to get up on your feet. My husband is working in a factory right now and he doesn't love it but I'm thankful he's willing to work so hard for our family. I know it's so hard though. He used to get so down to the point where he would literally beg me to be with someone else so that we wouldn't have to deal with his felony... But I honestly think me standing by him and encouraging him was the only thing that kept him going...
