yes, I got the test. only because my pervious prenancy there was complications and I wanted another ultrasound so I was able to with that test

I got it! It only takes 7-10 days to come back and it is extremely accurate -over 99%. Gives you peace of mind and you can plan if something is wrong. It also tells you the babies gender!!!

I chose not to ..only because my middle son was born with a blood disorder ..and I feel like no matter what my children are born with I will love them regardless and be there for them through anything....my son's disorder is why I chose to refuse with this child

I didn't, I was already high risk and no matter what I was keeping her. I didn't want to stress during the pregnancy as I was already stressing having diabetes.

Those test have sooooo many false positives it's crazy! Only way to know for sure is an amnio. I didn't bother.

We didn't get it done. BUT my husband and I did meet with a geneticist and evaluated our family trees for disease potential. Granted, Down syndrome can happen to anyone. However, if you don't get the initial quad screening blood work done, doctors can usually tell something is wrong as you progress in your pregnancy via symptoms, ultrasounds, more blood work, etc. At that point, you have options for testing at that point, albeit they are more invasive, such as amniocentesis.

I said no as well. I didn't want to worry and stress out on results from a test. I have known a women who was told her daughter wouldn't make it etc she should terminate the pregnancy she didn't an her daughter was born so healthy an will be 10 this yr
