Im so sick of some of my coworkers taking advantage of me! I have been at the same place 14 years, 13 of them I was a CNA, ive been a nurse a little over a year now... I will never forget what hard work it is to be a CNA and I am always glad to help when I can BUT taking off on the unit, telling me you're not going to do your job and expecting me to to do it for you because I was a CNA before is unacceptable! They take me as a joke sometimes!

@stefaniamarie, sometimes you gotta put your foot Down. They try to do that to me sometimes but I'm the wrong nurse to mess with and they know it. One too many times and I would write you up.

@nurseyes you're right thanks... writing people up here sets a fire... Its seriously like high school, I have been tormented...Ive already been to the unit manager who said I need to start learning to take control of my unit. For example, Im riding their asses about my vital signs.. My shift ends at 3 (yeah right ha) then they weren't getting them till 230. or would put the paper on my desk at 3 and run out the door. So I told them i want my vitals by 11, I get a "why?" and a bunch of huffing and puffing, I told them the doctor wants them. I get a "well if the doctor wants them that bad they can do them themselves". Im telling you these CNAs have balls!! So I told them that my unit manager will be writing them up and all of a sudden its a different story, they're all scared of him... Im just sick of the constant arguing, like don't ask me why and how come just do it!
