Ok.. so I'm a little lost at what to do.. (sorry this may be a little long) so my little one spits up a lot, I have to change his outfit at least 3 times a day and I'm always cleaning his hair. He spits up so much that he's even got little red bumps all around his mouth from it. His pediatrician says it's perfectly normal and I'm thinking she has no idea what she's talking about. He's on Enfamil Gentle Ease and he's about 4 months old and is eating 6oz bottles and won't take anything less and we are always increasing ozs but he still wants to eat every 3 hours and has a major fit when it comes time to eat like he's never been fed in his life, and it's not like we can feed him less and more often because he just won't have it and he'll still throw a fit. I'm thinking that maybe formula in general just isn't satisfying him but I'm not sure... I want to try to start him on cereal maybe and I was going to ask his pediatrician but I'm not even sure to really believe what she says so I really don't know what to do. Help?

@bianca_rose, @addysmomma47 I'm not sure we have him on Enfamil Gentlease because his stomach is super sensitive and I was considering trying Enfamil AR but I don't want it to upset his stomach too much which is why I haven't switched him. so instead of just switching the formula I thought about trying food.

Maybe it's the formula itself?

my friend started her son on cereal at 4 months because he was always hungry. If you feel he is ready for it then you should try it! You can also try putting it in the bottle with the formula too to see if that helps. If he is always hungry he probably is ready for something more
