in Illinois you have to have it to sign up for wic, snap benefits, and their Dr office. idk about where you live, but they require that for any assistance here.

They don't require it here lol I have had wic and stuff for him without it I just know I haven't sent off for it yet idk why they don't just send it off at the hospital for you after you fill everything out @kiml7613 lol yea I am due in June but all I have to do is mail mine in with a money order and they will send it back to me but I just kept forgetting I have a million things going on so I forget easily @Izamarpink

I delivered my son in Kentucky and had to pay $10/copy. we had to get his birth certificate for ssn, wic, Dr office, aid office, etc. in Illinois you gotta have all proof he/she is yours and you delivered him/her before getting any assistance at all.
