Yeah that's normal. Make sure to place some alcohol on a q tip to clean it and it needs to dry out more so no baths yet

Man I did not know that alcohol bit. When my princesses stump fell off I just left it alone, but it was mostly dry so I guess that's why I didn't think to do anything. But now I know for baby number two.

As long it doesn't have a foul odor then you're good. As others stated you can use alcohol to dry it up sooner or if you have a doctors apt soon show it to them. They have something they use to dry it up!

my daughters was the same took her to the dr n they used iodine i think dried that right on up its not completely healed
