So I just found out my fiancé has mild cause Aspergers from his mom. Honestly makes me feel different emotions. It makes me feel good bc it explains certain things in his behavior but that the same time doesn't make some of his actions appropriate. And if a marriage is not hard enough but to had this too it is going to be even harder! But I'm in for the long haul I love him. And my last thing is I'm afraid for my son I hope he doesn't have it. Bc life is hard enough as it is.
And if anyone has a so that suffers from Aspergers can you message me. I have some questions.

I used to watch a little girl who had it. She was the sweetest but sometimes she'd get outta hand. She needed alot of redirection and needed constant supervisor because she got into everything.

My sister in law has a severe case of Aspergers but she still functions and is super smart the only thing she really lacks on is social skills. She is extremely shy, almost to the point that she is mute unless you really know her well.

@hamman13, the little girl had a twin too but only she had it. I remember she used to pick her poop out of the toilet and spread it all over the walls. She has a severe case. She was very smart though especially with numbers and puzzles. She also likes to color. Whenever she got into trouble she would get so nervous and pull her hair out of her scalp. Once your son comes of age his pediatrician should send him to get psychological exams to see if he has it. I wouldn't worry about it now. Just make sure you tell him that there is a family history of Aspergers.

Yes he still functions lol of course. But he also is bipolar which doesn't help. But he likes things put a certain way and if one isn't than he freaks which something common and he lacks emotion in certain things and mad easy if something isn't handled a certain way. Like idk if you ever saw the show parent hood and Max how if things are not handled when he says or you touch his stuff he freaks and gets mad. He does that. But obviously not as bad case bc he is mild and you would never know unless you spend a lot of time with him. @ashsloan

Yes I hope he doesn't bc life is hard enough and for me to bc deal with one person who has it is a lot of work a second would be much more exhausting 😩 I love my s.o. But some days dealing with certain things get exhausting. But he is also the sweetest thing out there and has the biggest heart. @andrew_nikolai2015
