I'm in the SAME situation. I'm staying at my parents house until our house is ready in late June. It's torturous. I'm 4 days away from my due date now. The worst thing (well one of them) is that my parents refuse to use their a/c. It will be 85 degrees out and she will say "it's not hot enough" and "you don't pay for it". We have offered to pay rent and they won't take our money so I have to sit and suffer sweating my ass off all the time but if it's even slightly under 73 degrees she turns the HEAT on. It's ridiculous. I know how it feels to be stuck with your parents.

jeez, I wouldn't make it! my worst problem is that I'm isolated. no internet. no cable. no car. about 30 minutes from everything and barely have service on my phone! and her dog is so mean to mine, so she and I stay locked up in a tiny room ALL DAY. I just hope my house is ready soon :( my husband doesn't understand why I'm so stressed. but what if I went into preterm labor? it would take 30 minutes for anyone to get to me!! @emkasting I'm sorry youre going through the same thing:( it sucks

Oh my no internet?! That's just unfair. Lol all that's getting me through is the fact that my SO and I brought our giant tv here and mounted it in my old room so we can have Netflix and download shows and such to our computer. Idk what I would do with no internet. When's your house gonna be ready?

Mines not going to be obviously haha. Once I realized that there was no way we would be in our new place in time I was devastated. I want nothing more than to have my own space :(

we will be living with my dad in this new place, but it's a huge farmhouse and we get the whole upstairs. but I'll be much more comfortable there. I'm sorry yours wont be ready! :( I would hate to be stuck somewhere with a newborn like that. I wish you luck on dealing with it!! @emkasting

Ha thanks! Luckily my mom is in general very helpful so it'll be nice to have her around when I first bring him home, but it doesn't stop me from wishing I was in my own place. I hope you are able to cope with your situation as well!
