Good Evening! I have all of the symptoms of hypothyroidism. I'm pretty sure me not being diagnosed is the reason for all of my miscarriages, but my test keep coming back normal. I read that most of the time, your test can come back normal and you still have hypothyroidism. Has this ever happened to anyone?? If so, what do I need to tell my doctor in order for him to look deeper into this for me. I want to try for another baby, but I don't want to do it if I'm just going to lose another baby. I can't handle it😔

I have had it for several years at least the past 4 and every test came back normal. I had 2 miscarriages and wasn't able to conceive after. I'm now 34 weeks and was finally diagnosed with it 3 months ago. so it is very possible to have it and have "normal" results.

You should make an appointment with an endocrinologist. I have lost several babies because of my thyroid. My levels fluctuate so much while pregnant, you my be in a "normal" thyroid range while your not ovulating or pregnant. But my thyroid likes to get all out of whack when my hormone level changes.

I honestly didn't think anything of it except for the fact my mom has it. so I never knew symptoms or anything. my doctor found it when I did my glucose test. I had to take early at 22 weeks. if it weren't for him testing for everything I would still be undiagnosed. I'll be on the medicine for the rest of my life cause it's hereditary

See an endocrinologist, ask for a full thyroid panel. TSH, T4, T3, and Free T4. I have had to switch my doctors 5 times because none of them believed me about my thyroid not working properly.

@no062014, My doctor already did the whole panel and they're all normal. I'm going to call a endocrinologist in the morning

Also they have what is called an endo that deals with obstetric issues I saw one a few years back and they got really in depth. Maybe that would help. A university hospital would probably be better suited for this because it has to be some reason why. Mine happen to just be obesity and i lost 130 and it corrected my hormones and the rest is history. I wish u the best @paigeann051786
