my father in law has been a little upset that we are breaking the cycle of the name thomas jr (my husband's choice) and he has been saying things like "he will always be Tommy jr to me" and "did you pick a real name yet." but last night he pushed it too far and I heard him in the background of the phone making fun of the name we picked for our son, Sylas. It made me really sad but mostly pissed off. How does someone think they have that right?!
