So Mother's Day is extremely hard for me, as I lost my mom very suddenly when I was 10. I struggle every year to remain in good spirits, but this year I tried even harder as my emotions now effect my little one inside of me. I allowed myself to break down once yesterday, as I just couldn't hold it in any longer.. And when I thought she would quit moving for a while my baby girl knew exactly what mommy needed. She kicked constantly letting me know that she is there and everything is going to be okay. While I'm forever grateful that my mom is no longer suffering here on earth, I struggle with the fact that she will not get to be with me during the birth of my baby girl, she will not get to have a hand in helping her grow up and my baby girl will never get to meet the most amazing woman I have ever known. I pray that I can become half the mother my mom was to my brothers and I. There is no doubt that my baby girl will know who her grandmother is because she will hear about her everyday! ❤️

I'm sorry about your mom. I lost my mom when I was 14. And a dear friend of mine Saturday night before Mother's Day. I know exactly how you feel about your child and the relationship you wish that your mom and daughter could have. I wish my son would be able to have a relationship with my mom.

I'm sorry to hear that! It's definitely not easy going through life without them, but it's times like this that makes it harder I believe. I just try to remember that she is watching over us and I feel like she had a hand in picking out my little girl, cause lord knows I wasn't planning to get pregnant nor did I want a girl, but I couldn't imagine my life any other way now! 😍
