When people say they are coming to your baby shower, then back out last minute.. makes me feel like…

I had 3 people... two texted me the morning of and one texted me half way through. my shower was a small one to start. :-(

mine is super small!! I had 14 people saying they were for sure coming and 11 people said maybe. the people who said maybe haven't decided for sure I'm guessing and 2 of the 14 have already backed out. :( @littlemissc

I had 18-20 coming then the 3 that canceled the day of. I had about 15 show @jessicarose0602

I'm paying for so much already. half the gas to go down and back to Kentucky from PA, I'm paying for the cake, some of the food. some of the cost to rent the place for the baby shower. it's so stressful! @littlemissc I wish people could just make plans and follow through. I know things come up sometimes, I understand that but it's still kind of depressing. @littlemissc

and I feel like there might be more. I don't expect all 11 who said 'maybe' to show up. :( @daij

I felt so hurt when they couldn't come... It was because of work but they both said they would come, why not call of ONE day to come and support a friend? But I understand duty calls...

the 3 that skipped mine, 1 forgot, another got called into work and the 3rd made up an excuse :-( it hurt a lot

Yeah I had people text me while I was on my way to mine, one blamed it on her car and said she'd come drop her gift off the next day, it's been 6 wks, haven't heard from her 😐

I understand too but when they plan on it the whole time for over a month it definitely sucks. @daij

@bianca_rose Oh no!! that's definitely not a true friend sounds like. they could've found a few minutes out of their day in the past 6 weeks to do what they said they would do.

Exactly, so whatever. The shower was still nice but extremely small, try not to let it get you down

I'm trying my best not to. my boyfriend keeps telling me the important people will be there and that's what matters and that's what I'll keep stuck in my head all week til saturday. @bianca_rose
