personally it sounds weird to me too. still maybe let him pick the middle name, but suggest maybe not this one. Suggest every single name you see that you like for the middle name and then one time you'll come across one that he loves and he will think it was his idea lol
my middle name is Marie and it's super common, but I still like it. it sounds nice with the first name you have chosen but it should definitely be a name he likes too. I've met women who will choose what they want, but I wanted my husband to like our sons name too so I'm the one who had to warm up to the name
