Has anyone worked without needing someone to watch your child besides your spouse? This might sound ridiculous but I'm struggling to find a way.😥😥 I have nobody that'll watch my son without being annoyed with him.My family gets annoyed with his crying. He doesn't know them. Not his or my fault. I don't want them watching him because there would be a problem if I found out somebody is mistreating him. Daycare isn't an option. I was thinking overnight shift, which I'm hired for. I just don't know if it would work. I would be coming home to the baby and my husband will be walking out. Which means no sleep.

Have you tried looking on mom groups? If you're able to find a friend near you with kids already and is a stay at home mom, it'll probably work better. I know a lot of moms who stay home ad want to make extra money.

I work overnights and my mom watches my daughter. Shea sleeps basically the whole time she gets up about 7 when I get out so it's just my 10 min ride home. it's really rough working over nights trying to watch your child by yourself. I've gotten to where I take a 2 hour nap then 2, 1 hour naps while she naps and then 2 hours before I go to work. some Days that's enough and other days it's not at all

@meagansimone I don't understand what you mean? You mean asking someone to watch my baby? @steph11 See that's what I'm thinking.

@junesmommy15, we both work nights and have our own place plus im getting ready in 3 weeks to return to work. My Neigbor who is also a nurse retiree would be watching Ethan for us. I've let her watch him couple times to run errands and she comes over at least twice per week to say hi. She loves him and he loves her too so the transition for him and me will be easy. She lives right next door to me. I also only work three 12 hour shifts so that shouldn't be so bad. But you got to make it work for you and do what's best. Good luck. @steph11 im a bit nervous how it would all play out when it comes to me taking a nap. Figured would have to nap when he does. In process of getting transferred to the day shift.

If you know them. I'm in a few mom groups and I've gotten to know them dencently, so I would feel comfortable leaving my daughter there.

@meagansimone Oh ok. Yeah, I don't know any moms close to me. I don't trust people that well. Too much happening to babies. It's scary.

3, 12s will be hard! when I do 3 10s I'm dead tired and I physically can't do more than 4 overnights in a row unless someone will watch sadie and I can get 5 hours of sleep in a row. I'm great on running with no sleep but the broken naps don't add up like you hope. it is doable though. I've been doing it for 3 months and my daughter is 11 months old.

On the bright side I'm off 4 nights but not looking forward to it. Told my nurse manager do my schedule on and off. Usually we do our own schedule but been off for 5 months. So trust first month she does it to accommodate me. If it's too much would pay the babysitter to watch an extra 4 hours to rest. @steph11
