Ugh so now on top of everything my freaking car is acting up out of nowhere😪 this isn't cool with my driving test being so soon, so now I have to call my dad to come down from Massachusetts on his next day off since he's stationed up there right now and take it to the shop. It starts after having to turn the key a good 3-4 times on a good day and more on a bad day and it's not being over driven or poorly taken care of, so I'm pretty much confined to uber and the stupid city bus which I hate 😓. Anybody else on here have a Toyota Scion XD 2008 model and had this problem before (or a Toyota Yaris or anything similar)? I know it probably doesn't really matter what kind of car it is because this happens to a lot of cars, but it'd be nice to know what the deal was with other people with similar cars and about how much it ended up costing to get the issue fixed.

@baby_villa_number2, my mom figured it was the starter when I was telling her about it too! My dad should be back in town either tomorrow or this weekend so hopefully I'll be able to get it taken care of then. I live in Connecticut and just quoted how much it'd be in the area I live in and to get it fixed or replaced can cost on average between 300 and 500 dollars which isn't as bad as I thought it'd be.
