In my situation we lived in a 1 bedroom apartment when my son was a baby...we had a bassinet in which he slept for 3 months which I loved cause he was literally right beside my side of the bed so I can just see if he was breathing or just reach over to check without getting up....after 3 months I changed him into his crib which was on the other side of the room..he is now 2 years old and still sleeps in it...when my baby girl is born we'll be doing the same with her...so in my opinion both would be nice cause u can leave the bassinet in the living room to watch over here or any other place in ur home too but if not then a crib is good cause it'll last till ur baby is a toddler

a crib they can sleep in for at least two years, a bassinet they only can for a few months. I would say crib

Could get both .. Crib for baby's room n bassinet for downstairs or living room for when ur watching tv in ur living room or eating dinner
