So moms.... some of you may have seen about my constant headache a couple weeks ago. I talked to my dr and he wasnt worried. well this morning it came back and was bad. I was light headed and dizzy when I would stand up and walk around. I was sweating, my heart was beating really fast, I felt really short of breath and I threw up(which I dont really do anymore).... does that sound concerning or normal to you? I have another appt this week..
@machelle137, that is crazy and I will DEFINITELY take that into consideration especially if it doesnt get figured out soon! These headaches came out of nowhere and when I finally gave in to tylenol the other day it only worked a TINY bit for 2-3 hours and I fhose jot to take it again because Im not gonna drug myself up that often especially when it hardly helps. thank you for your comment!!
this is a stretch but you could be sensitive to gluten or msg. i was fine until 2 years ago, i had bad headaches enough to get checked for an aneurysm. my heart was bothering me so bad i thought i was having a heart attack. i nearly passed out at the store and was always dizzy. i am sensitive to gluten now out of the blue and can not have msg in my food or it will give me massive headaches and heart palpitations. please take this into consideration as it took me 2 years to figure ut out. try to cut out these, it takes about 1 to 2 weeks to clear your system but if it is the problem you will thank me! i was going to the drs so much i think they thought i was crazy.
@twinmommy123, that's good :-) I'm trying to get better at it since it's getting warmer out.
@lelizabeth, I am normally really good about staying hydrated 😊 Even when I went to the ER a couple weeks ago the nurse was telling me that but then said she thought inwas doing a good job because my pee looked great. haha. She said more than once how thats how pee should look.haha.
@twinmommy123, I know you probably know this already, but make sure you're drinking a lot of water. What you described is how I feel when I'm really dehydrated.
no, I am just pregnant with one. I have twins already... I never had these issues when I was prego with them! But I am heavier now than I rver have been and sometimes I do feel like that has to do with it though. @jana.bear
@twinmommy123 well you are carrying double the baby. I'm sure that has something to do with it.
@jana.bear, maybe thats what it is then. My dr just told me to take tylenol for my headache and and he will watch my bp because it wasnt high enough to worry much.It just has never made me feel so crappy or made me actually throw up before.
Maybe try checking it at the grocery store for a few days. They've checked me for pre eclampsia a bunch of times but it's like I get occasional high BP but it never stays high long enough to warrant action but it does make me sick sometimes.
@jana.bear, ugh thats what I am scared of.... I was told at the beginning I had a risk of pre eclampsia cuz of my bp. I got put on meds for it for a while then taken back off because I was doing fine and the meds were making me almost pass out. I went and got checked for pre eclampsia a couple weeks ago but didnt have it. but at my last appt, my bp was up a bit again. I do take it at home sometimes and ita normally fine... I wonder if my monitor is off a bit. 😕
also, my neurologist wanted to give me beta blockers to help with my every day migraines but i refused so she gave me a list of natural stuff to try. i started taking magnesium every day and it was a miracle. it took a week but my headaches vanished. because of how food is grown now the soil does not contain enough minerals so most everyone is deficient in magnesium but do not know it. do some research on magesium deficiency, it includes heart palpiations and headaches
