so this is mother's day, and I don't have a s/o. it's me and my son and of course my family. I've seen posts about how nobody got anything and I've seen posts where moms got everything they wanted. well I'm not going to complain about not getting anything because that's not what matters. what matters is it's a day that YOU get to celebrate the fact that your a mother. The best thing to ever happen to you. I have my two angel babies and then my sweet baby that isn't due yet. I'm perfectly content that I got to be lazy all day long and feel my baby move around because that to me tells me he is saying he loves me. y'all please don't be sad that your s/o didn't do anything. there are many women that have to deal with being a single mom. there are also women out there that don't get to have the opportunity to love someone. it's your day. you don't need someone to tell you happy mother's day (except children) and you don't need gifts! just like Christmas, celebrate the day for what it's worth and stop worrying about the materialistic things! that's not what life is about (:
