So the past 2 or 3 weeks I have been having sharp pains in the vaginal area the only way I can think to describe them is like lightning bolts. Today they are 10 times worse then they normally are. From what I was ready it sound like that means I could be dilating? I'm almost 36 weeks .Anybody else have this going on?

i have it when i walk alot ill be 36 weeks in 2 days i was also wondering what it was its like my uterus goes numb when i walk alot so i have to sit down for a bit otherwise it hurts to much to walk

From what I read it is even referred to as "lightening" crotch because lightening is a term used meaning the baby is dropping. So lighting because of the feeling of lightning bolts and lightening because of the actual lightening process. I thought that was interesting! I've been feeling it so much but baby hasn't dropped at all!
