I was just gonna say what @mom13 said. If CPS shows up at your door do NOT let them in unless they have a warrant. Even if they show up with a police officer, usually if that's the case the officer is with them for THEIR protection not as a reinforcement for you to let them in, but CPS WILL lie to you. they WILL tell you they don't need a warrant but they absolutely do. I learned all this when I was studying law, it is crazy what CPS will do to simply gain entry to your house. So do not let them in unless they can show you a court ordered warrant

@emkasting, i just recently found that out via fb video but yeah id ask for their warrant no warrant ur not coming in for my childs safety i have the right to protect my children as well

@mom13 exactly. When I learned how much CPS will lie just to gain access to someone's home I was sick. Still am. They will do whatever it takes, they aren't there to let people know their rights. And many if not most people don't know their rights when it comes to CPS!

@emkasting, in my opinion CPS is broken so bad kids that are being abused are still living in the home and kids being disciplined are being taken from their homes then they wonder why some parents are scared to discipline their children then complain that these children are spoiled little shits which just angers me like dont call my child that yes she is spoiled but i am raising her there is discipline and i do say no to her and yes i spank her butt when its necessary and only when its necessary such as when we were in the parking lot she was 3 and tried to run away from me with out a hand to get to the store i grabbed her spanked her butt and explained why to her an old lady gave me a nasty look i told her id rather spank her butt and explain to her why its not safe then my child getting hit by a damn car because ppl think parking lots are raceways not parking lots any more these days

They need a warrant in every state, yes. Don't let them in your home without one. Like I said they will lie to you and tell you they don't need one, but they do. Don't be rude but be polite and firm. Even if they're with a police officer. Like i said the police officer is more often than not there for their own protection nor for any reason having to do with coming in your house. They have to have a warrant no matter what!

If you need anything else just message me. I learned so much about what CPS can and cannot do when I was studying law. It's insane how much they will lie to you, and a lot of the time people don't know their rights and CPS is able to just lie their way to taking people's kids. I'm not saying that will happen to you I don't think you need to worry but seriously if you have any questions I'll answer to the best of my ability.
