So I'm really late in posting my labor story but here it is. Get to the hospital at 6:50 am on 3/6/16 and they get my room ready they check my cervix and almost a 3 so they hook everything up for my induction and we're ready to go by 7:30. An hour goes by and doc comes in to see how I'm doing and informs me I've had 3 contractions (I didn't feel them). Asks if I want the epidural and I said I'm ok then he breaks my water . I waited till I was dilated to a five to get the epi and was waiting for the medicine to kick in but it wasn't working. He didn't come back in until I was dilated to an 8 and he gave me more medicine then I had my daughter 20 min later. 5 pushes and about ten min she was there and luckily I didn't feel a thing cause I had a 2nd degree tear. I was in labor for 4 1/2 hours.
