Is your nipple red or flaky? Does the baby have a white/yellow coating on his tongue?

could be your let down. mine started out as shooting pains nows it's still a dull pain. There's nothing you can do if it's your let down. xcould be latch or possibly thrush?

Not really. A little dry but nothing major. And he doesn't, but his lips are super chapped and he's been really fussy.. @arivera64

hmmmm it still could be a possibility that it's thrush. That can cause stinging nips and a fussy baby too. I say give a call to the pedi on monday and have them check him for thrush. You can use a little coconut oil on his lips if they're really dry.

Are you putting anything on your nipples like lanolin?

K you can mix 1tbsp of baking soda with 3tbsp of water to create a paste. After each feeding, clean your nipples with just water....air dry...apply paste....wipe off before next feeding. Same with baby....wipe mouth with clean washcloth....use qtip to apply small amount of paste to tongue and cheeks....clean mouth before next feeding

Wash your hands and babys hands frequently if the baby puts his hands in his mouth too so that you avoid spreading it more. Do that until you can see the pedi monday

sorry mama i didn't see this last comment. If the doc gives him the medicine for thrush it will be for you too. You can apply it to your nipples.
