I'd keep it anyway and explain to my sister in the hopes that she will no longer want it...if she does then I wouldn't talk to either of them and keep the name anyway because that is a very messed up thing to do! and then to go along with it makes it that much worse as far as I'm concerned. Sorry you're having to go through that hun, it's very childish and spiteful xx

omg that's so out of order!! I'd be so angry if I were you, I totally don't blame you, my aunty did something like that to me many years ago, there was a name I really wanted for my son (if I had one) and I told her and as soon as she got pregnant and had her son she used it! I was so annoyed but since I've become an adult I no longer like the name so would not have used it anyway lol, it was just because I fancied the celeb so the joke is on her really. Since then though I have never revealed the names of my children until they are born. It makes it easier as my husband is nigerian and in his culture you don't reveal the names until the naming ceremony the week after baby is born so that helps my excuse for not sharing too lol. I'm so sorry though hun that is such an awful thing to do on their part, I hope you can find another name you love as much and maybe keep it as one of baby's middle names? that way the personalised bits won't go to waste and you won't lose the name completely or maybe double barrel it? x
