Whats the best way to give emma a bath? I dont have one of those tub things that go insde the tub…

If her umbilical cord stump is still attached she can't be submerged in water until it falls off

If her cord has fallen off you can give her a bath in the kitchen sink. I have a baby tub but I find it easier in the sink because you dont have to bend over

This is what I did with my babies when they still had their umbilical cord. I'd get them naked down to their diaper, wrap them up in a towel and wash their head under running water. Then I unwrapped their torso and scrub them down with soap and wash cloth, rinse, and wrap them up again. Repeat with their bottom half. I always kept a heater in my bathroom so they wouldn't feel cold.

Get a bowl with some warm water and baby soap and hand wash her with a wash cloth on your bed with a towel under her and try to avoid getting the cord wet

But once I got down to their bottom half I'd take of their diaper cause sometimes they'd pee on me lol. I waited until the last second to take it off
