So im trying to figure out a cute way to announce my little noodle's gender when we find out in a little over 2 weeks, I'm thinking of making my infamous cake batter dipped Oreos (a little like fried Oreos, but without all the guilt because there's no frying involved, and they're quicker, and fun to make with kids, I use cake batter sans eggs or all the stuff the box says, just add water, mix it until it's a thick but not lumpy consistency, dip the Oreos in, lay them on a greased or non-stick cookie sheet or put parchment paper on the cookie sheet if you don't want to use grease, and put them in the oven and let them get golden brown) that my co-workers fell in love with when I made them a few months ago, and this time adding food coloring (pink or blue). I figured that that'd be a cute (and yummy) way to announce the gender to my co-workers that know and announce my pregnancy overall to those who haven't quite caught on yet (I'm lucky enough to work in a retail store where you don't have a uniform and it's 100% acceptable to dress in oversized flannels and tees and flowy tops and leggings), and make some for my mom to let her co-workers that she's told (that I've ok'd lol) know. Anyone else think that's a good idea?
