@babes87101116, no dr said I had to. I'm like @sarahdrew, I'm asking due to having prior back issues and now being 30 weeks and at a physical job, it's hard.

if you ask and the dr agrees the should give you a note, just mention that you have to have one, it shouldn't be an issue

Oh sorry I read it wrong. Call your primary doctor first, to get a letter proving you have back issues.
