Soo my sister was supposed to be planning my baby shower but she hasn't done ANYTHING on top of that we hardly even talk since she moved outta my place.. I was really counting on her cause I can't afford to do it on my own & I dont wanna keep bugging her about it if she changed her mind i just wish she would say so if thats the case.. But i was with my mil and she was saying how she wanted to throw me one but wasn't sure about my plans on the matter and I told her the situation and that was kinda the end of it. Im just curious on how I can bring it back up to her without seeming too "eager" I guess you can say. Because I know if she does my baby shower 1. more people will come 2. I wont have the stress on ME and 3. It will be planned correctly.. ugh i want a baby shower !!! lol

I would tell her that your sister cancelled on you so she would give you a baby shower

I wasn't close with my mil when I was pregnant with my daughter. I know how you feel on that. But talking with her and spending time with her will help build a relationship between y'all and maybe you'll be able to understand her better?

@mommyoftwo1416., Yeah i suppose because she really is cool and loves me & the baby already ! But as far as understanding her ill just have to learn spanish lol her own son (babies dad) can heardly understand her english

Awe, haha. Yeah, understanding people that don't speak good English is hard. one of my friends mom use to try and speak English when we talked and it was super hard to understand her with her Spanish accent. It's a guessing game when it comes to that kind of thing. Eventually you'll pick up on it.
