How often can you give newborns baths once the cord falls off? And why not every night...?

You can put them in a baby bath and are not able to submerge them In water past their belly button. They suggest not everyday because it dries out their skin. I bath my little one a week on Saturdays unless he poops or pukes all over.

I've gave my daughter a bath every two days since her umbilical cord fell off, she's perfectly healthy! 💞☺️

Psh I never heard any of this before. my kid gets daily baths but I lotion and oil him up after each bath.

Thank you lol I think the baths make them sleep better! I always lotion her up but I was trying to understand why ppl are so against baths everyday. @lilmommy93
