😡😡😡😡 everyone saying pregnant women aren't mothers are making me mad lol. We are just as much a mother as everyone else, You would do ANYTHING for your child even in utero and to me someone who nurtures and cares is a mother.

It upset me hearing they did that to you 😡 lol. I celebrated Mother's Day last year after my miscarriage and I fully plan on celebrating it this year as well. My babies matter regardless of what others think 💛😍

I wouldn't say ur just as much as a mother as someone with kids. Bc you haven't even experienced anything yet . Being a mother is much more harder than carrying a baby , it's a life u are responsible for , a life u given birth to, look up the definition of mother it doesn't say a woman carrying a child . Although I don't take nothing away from a pregnant woman , but it's by far more to being a mother than carrying . That's just the first stage of walking into motherhood. U know how many woman today have kids an turn they back on them , & that's not a mother bc they didn't show acts of a mother , u will understand the difference when it's time to fight the battles a mother fight . But hey to each it's own .

I think any kind of mother should be celebrated on that day. Before I had my son, my boyfriend used to still celebrate Mother's Day for me because I was a step mom to his children. It's honoring any type, and you carrying your child makes you a mother. Some people just don't understand!

Mother's Day isn't about the babies mattering it's about the mother who fought all obstacles & did what a mother do -love provide &there; every step of the way. Trust me the love is stronger for a child living than the child a woman's carrying . We love our unborn kids but they don't have life until they breathe this air.

Some ppl celebrate Mother's Day with their children still inside them and some wait. If ppl give you gifts and wish you a happy Mother's Day that's fine too, carrying a child is hard too some women go through hell all 9 months so why shouldn't they be honored as a mother even though their child isn't here

@yonn0921, I see what you mean. @alexzandriar my mom mentioned the same thing. It didn't really bother me too much because I don't think I personally lived up to my own expectation of being a mother just yet. I would feel more comfortable celebrating once I have my baby.

@desi720, listen I'm a mom of a 4 year old an I couldn't give a fuck about mother day (excuse my French ) but I don't think some one saying happy mothers or buying me a gift compares to what I do & go through for my child ! A woman can be honored an praised while carrying a child but when u become a mother it's just different . A different feeling & That lil stuff done phase you as a woman !! What I get a kick out of is the fact that my child loves me for always being there for teaching him , loving him & not turning my back. It's just the same as a father who walk away during the pregnancy , or after . I command all woman carrying bc it's a hard fight . But the real battle has yet to come ! Everyday is Mother's Day for me & im not gone allow one day to get me big headed , bc I know the love & thanks my child gives me day in & day out! & I don't wana be praised for raising my child cause that's what a mother pose to do. Yet some woman rather toot they own horn. & As I said to each it's own

@yonn0921, I understand you completely. I don't consider every pregnant women a mother because. Some do crazy things how does it look imagine a women celebrating Mother's Day and give birth then baby is in a dumpster and left for dead. Or pregnant women who drink and do drugs during their pregnancy. I don't consider those kinds of people real mothers. I think it's best to have the child. And go through life understanding what it really takes to be a mother. Maybe celebrating the fact of becoming a mom would be something different. Idk just my opinion but I agree with you💯
